This BMW map update is designed for BMW and MINI iDrive systems equipped with the Road Map Move Maps.

Unsure if this is the correct map version for your iDrive? Our FAQ section guides you on how to check it, or you can use our Free BMW VIN Decoder to determine the maps installed on your iDrive. Once you have received the PDF containing the results from your VIN Lookup, check the Head unit / Map Version section.

Choosing is then straightforward: for example if your system has Premium maps, you have to opt for the Premium map version.

BMW F10 530D Europe West Next 2025 Map Update

I am very happy with my new map update. I purchased a new SanDisk 32 GB Cruzer Blade USB 2.0 from Amazon but this turned out to be only 28.6GB and was 460kb too small for the new map. I then used a 128GB SanDisk Ultra USB 3.0 and formatted exFAT and it worked perfectly. I connected a battery charger to my BMW and loaded the map and lifetime FSC code in one go without any interuptions. It took roughly about 3/4 of an hour to 1 hour to load up.

Took a while to download an error free version of the software. For some reason I kept getting corrupt file errors when unpacking the rar file, but it eventually downloaded error free and installed on the car without issue.
