This BMW map update is designed for BMW and MINI iDrive systems equipped with the Road Map EVO Maps.

Unsure if this is the correct map version for your iDrive? Our FAQ section guides you on how to check it, or you can use our Free BMW VIN Decoder to determine the maps installed on your iDrive. Once you have received the PDF containing the results from your VIN Lookup, check the Head unit / Map Version section.

Choosing is then straightforward: for example if your system has Premium maps, you have to opt for the Premium map version.

EVO ID4 MAPS UPDATE

Was straight forward to download and install, Maps have been updated from 2017 to 2024.

Result after lot's of patience

The downloading took a lot of time and failed like 5 or 6 times but I did not give up. After downloading it took like 20 or 30 minutes to unpack. I did it on an Apple Mac computer and with the good instructions from the e-mail everything went well. My Mini recognised the update immediately and the update took about 30 minutes.
After all a happy customer. :-)
My old maps were from 2016 so that may be the reason why I had to wait so long.

Easy to update

The instructions were easy to follow, even for someone who isn't very computer literate. They worked perfectly.

Update - Eventually

Initially assumed this would be a simple straightforward process, never having done it before.
Instructions were clear and initially tried download etc on Mac and despite email help from oem, file transfer / ghost files and additional help app, could not update vehicle. Gave up on Mac and then used laptop with Windows 10, much more straightforward and although downloads took longer than expected, everything processed without problems and a relieved but frustrated customer.
OEM very helpful thro process with prompt responses to me email queries.

Easy! Worked flawlessly!

This is the real deal! Download maps. Copy to USB stick. Insert USB stick. Enter fsc code. Let it update. Update took about 20 minutes to complete.
