Please Note: This product is exclusively for the JOY Map FSC code. It does not include map download links.

You can upload the FSC activation file without any special tools in most cases.

The exception? If you’re switching regions — for example, going from a North America map version to a Europe map version — you’ll need an ENET cable and a laptop (at least Win10 or newest Mac OS Version). For updates within the same region, no extra equipment is required.

You can easily find out by checking our FAQ section, or use our Free BMW VIN Decoder to determine the maps on your iDrive. After receiving the PDF from your VIN Lookup, check the 'Head unit / Map Version' section to see your map type.

Then, selecting the right FSC Code is simple. For example, if your iDrive has Premium maps, then you should choose the FSC Code for the Premium map version.
